Creative Places Tuam website launched
News
Creative Places Tuam today launched a website which will bring together information, news, events and opportunities from the three year cultural programme. The site aims to amplify collaborative arts practice in the town and its hinterlands, connecting artists, business people, young people, and the wider community. Creative Places Tuam is for everyone – whether you are an artist, an arts collective, a maker, a community group, resident, business owner, student, and everyone should feel welcome to connect with the site, with artists, community and place through creativity and engagement.

Carolann Courtney, Creative Places Tuam Programme Coordinator, says “we are thrilled to be able to present this website, which will bring together inspiring news, events and opportunities about the Creative Places Tuam programme. I’ve already been lucky enough to meet with lots of people in Tuam and the surrounding area, and we believe that this website will allow us to connect with many more, developing the cultural capacity of the area, particularly in this time of physical distancing and social solidarity”.
Creative Places is an Arts Council initiative, led in Tuam by Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts.
