Networking Day 2025: Collaborative Futures

We are delighted to share some pictures of our recent Networking Event: Collaborative Futures, held in the F2 Centre, Rialto, Dublin. We very quickly sold out tickets and welcomed over 100 artists, activists, community representatives, academics, and others working in the field.

Our Networking Event offers a vital space for connection and discussion among artists, activists, researchers and other collaborators operating in the spaces between collaborative, socially engaged arts, community development, pedagogy, and politics. This event is a unique opportunity for those working in the field to meet with like-minded peers, to share and network, and learn from each other as well as leading voices in the field.

We are so grateful to be able to make spaces for artists, community members, academics, community workers and more to meet and share. We are thankful to our speakers and panellists Dannielle McKenna, Evelyn Broderick, Richie Keane, Veronica Dyas, John Bissett, Joon-Lynn Goh, Dr. Sophie Hope and Viviana Checchia for their contributions and provocations.

You can now view the outcomes of the Open Space sessions (with our colleague Fiona’s graphic harvesting!) and listen to an episode of the Meanwhile In An Abandoned Warehouse (miaaw.net) podcast featuring our Director Damine McGlynn alongside artist attendees Megan Atkinson and Silver Kezir, in which they  discuss the program, outcomes,  and the possibilities inherent in the idea of collaborative futures.
