Ninth partner for CAPP announced

Heart of Glass, St Helens (UK)

Create is delighted to announce that the Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme will be expanded to include a ninth partner, Heart of Glass, St Helens (UK). St Helens is situated between Liverpool and Manchester in the North of England. Heart of Glass is part of Arts Council England’s (ACE) action research programme Creative People and Places , which aims to increase participation in the arts through the development of arts projects which put people and place at the heart of cultural activities.

Patrick Fox, director Heart of Glass says: “We’re thrilled to join this ambitious trasnational programme that promotes collaborative arts and enhances artists’ opportunities to create memorable collaborative arts projects across Europe.”

Ailbhe Murphy of Create says: “It makes total sense for Heart of Glass to join CAPP, particularly in the light of their commitment to cultural democracy and their exciting programme of high calibre collaborative arts projects across artform.”
