Date: 7 February, 2017
Time: 4.00pm – 6.00pm
Venue: Europe House, Offices of European Commission Representation in Ireland, 12-14 Mount Street Lower, Dublin 2
To be launched by Orlaith McBride, director of Arts Council Ireland.
Create and the Creative Europe Desk – Culture Office are pleased to announce the launch of the new website of The Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme (CAPP) which will officially take place on 7 February 2017.
Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts, as lead partner of CAPP, engaged Animo Creations in Madrid to develop the CAPP website. The website will provide an indispensable resource for those working in the area of collaborative arts who seek to enhance opportunities for mobility and exchange and avail of opportunities for collaborative practice across Europe. Policy makers, academics and those generally interested in collaborative arts as well as artists, will find it useful to avail of the CAPP website as a resource and site for news of CAPP activities and opportunities.
Bringing together both information about the broad range of activities supported through CAPP, the emphasis on the website will be on highlighting the opportunities for artists across Europe and the development of audiences through the upcoming Commissions in 2017. In the first two years of the project close to 1,400 artists have been supported across the CAPP network through workshops and residencies. The CAPP website will celebrate and document the extraordinary range of collaborative arts practice in Europe across a range of art forms and the rich potential to engage meaningfully with communities and different groups in society.
