The AIC Scheme Collaborative Practice Clinic offers artists/applicants one to one project advice with different members of the Create Team. We are delighted to announce an upcoming online clinic on the 6th April.

If you are applying for a Research and Development Award:

Áine Crowley, Programme Manager, Arts and Engagement and Jane O’Rourke, Office Manager will answer specific questions you might have about making an R&D application, help tease out the practicalities and offer you tips and guidance on getting your application together.

Who is this for? First time applicants to the AIC Scheme and those who previously applied and were not successful.

 

If you are applying for a Project Realisation Award:

  • Production + Digital Strategies – Vance Lau, Arts and Cultural Programme Coordinator, can advise on project management from day one to completion, and ideas on collaboration and dissemination on virtual realm, a useful resource to artists considering a funding application.
  • Communications and Dissemination – Keelin Murray, Communications and Publishing Manager, can work with you on developing or editing an artist’s statement, website, advertisement, or social media presence, to make sure your message is reaching your audience. Please bring an example text you would like to work on, or specific questions to discuss with Keelin.
  • Budget and administration – Arthur Duignan, Assistant Director, can talk you through constructing a budget and advise on other aspects of financial management, including payment of awards and project administration e.g. insurance and contracts.
  • Evaluation -Grainne Coughlan,  Independent Researcher, can talk you through tailoring self-evaluation to your practice, offering tools and advice on how to incorporate self-evaluation in your project with the aim of helping you develop your work and assist in your approach to report writing.

Who is this for? Project Realisation award applicants- artist and /or a representative from the community group/ lead organisation

 

Outside of the AIC Collaborative Practice Clinics we offer advice and support services.  If you wish to book an advisory session to discuss your project idea in more detail, Áine can talk with you about developing and delivering your collaborative project and specific questions you might have about making an application to the Artist in the Community Scheme (support[at]create-ireland.ie)
