Affiliation to our Garda Vetting Service

Create is registered with the National Vetting Bureau of An Garda Siochana for the purpose of providing applicable affiliates with access to the online e-Vetting system for relevant work in the arts. This service can include guidance on the completion of the “application for registration as a Relevant Organisation with the Garda National Vetting Bureau”, which is a mandatory step implemented by the Bureau to ascertain your organisation’s Vetting needs. The e-Vetting system ensures speedy processing of vetting applications (5-day turnaround) and allows affiliates and applicants to track the progress of their applications online.

Fee Structure

The current processing fee is €20 per Vetting application processed from non-profit organisations and €35 per application processed from commercial organisations. This is in addition to an annual Affiliation fee of €50.

If you do not provide relevant services for children or vulnerable people, you are not entitled to carry out Vetting under the Vetting Act (Children and Vulneable Persons) Act 2012 to 2016.

GNVB Affiliate Registration Letter

Please scan and upload both pages of the Affiliate Registration letter which was sent to you by the Garda National Vetting Bureau.
If you have not yet been issued with an Affiliate Registration Letter, you may still complete this online application form to become a Create affiliate. Upon completing the form, please email vetting@garda.ie requesting access to vetting. In this email, you must state the name and business address of your organisation, contact person within your organisation, the nature of your business/ how your staff/ volunteers come into contact with children, and how many people will require vetting (approx).
Please note, a referral to Create does not constitute an offer to affiliate to the Vetting for Arts Service.

Some profiling information may be sought regarding the type of services you provide. Applicants provide information voluntarily, via this form. Refusal to provide the required information could interfere with your registration.
Create processes applicant and subscriber data for the sole purpose of providing you with the service you require. Any personal data we collect will be stored for the subscription period only and thereafter deleted or made anonymous. At any time you have the right to access to your data, to correct or delete that data, or to withdraw your consent to any processing.
