On Wednesday 25th June, Create will host an information event for artists in relation to this bursary. In this information session a member of the Create team will outline the Bursary, answering any questions you might have about making an application.

The focus of discussion will frame the context of this Bursary, the application process and how a Bursary could help facilitate and support experimentation, research and professional development. Artist Evelyn Broderick, previous Bursary recipient (2023), will speak to her experience and the role the Bursary played in the development of her practice.

The bursary closes for application on the 21st of July.

*Please note that we can offer live ISL interpreting and captioning upon request – please email info[at]create-ireland.ie in advance of 17th June if you require this support*

Bursary Advisory Clinics

In addition to the information session, Create is also offering online Bursary Advisory Clinics to potential applicants, on the 1st, 10th and 17th July. The Bursary Advisory Clinic offers artists/applicants 30 minute one to one advice and support on their application with one of the Create team or artist mentor Ruairí Ó Donnabháin who is available on the 10 July only. For example, you may want to tease out your idea, need some additional guidance on the application process, want to discuss / need additional guidance on what you can/should apply for to meet your collaborative practice development needs.
Artists who wish to avail of the Bursary Advisory Clinic must first attend an information session. You can book an Advisory Clinic using this link.

*If you have any access needs that would make your one-to-one session more accessible for example Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpretation,  let us know and we will do our best accommodate.
Or if you would like to book a one-to-one session to discuss your access needs (for example, support with your application such as translation, guidance on personal access costs within the Bursary) contact Jane oninfo@create-ireland.ie
