Are you an artist or community group with an interest in working on a collaborative, socially engaged project? The Artist in the Community Scheme, managed by Create, offers awards, an annual bursary, residencies and a summer school.

Create offers advisory support to individuals and organisations, both through one-on-one meetings with Create associates and group sessions. The content of sessions can be tailored to the needs of the individual practitioner or organisation.

Create is registered with the National Vetting Bureau to represent persons, organisations and groups in accessing vetting for bona-fide reasons of employment or engagement in the arts and culture.

The Create Reading Room is a unique resource for artists, community workers, arts, civil society and NGO organisations and anyone with an interest in and passion for the potential of art to effect social change.

Create’s National Networking Day is an annual encounter of exchange and learning about artists’ practices, which operate in the spaces between socially engaged arts, pedagogy, and politics, in order to activate, stimulate, critique, and make change.
