This workshop, presented in partnership with Age and Opportunity's Bealtaine@TempleBar festival, focuses on the study of listening, creative soundwalking and the meditative practices of Tai Chi and Qigong. Enhancing a participant’s perception of sound and silence, it offers a unique approach for situated soundscapes, as well as movement/sound/and listening improvisations and strategies. The workshop is open to anyone interested in exploring Acouscenic Listening and the Creative Soundwalk as a creative tool. No experience necessary. The workshop leader will be Sean Taylor, from Art and Science Collective Softday. You can find out more about Softday's ongoing project Uisce Salach, (Dirty Water), and how you can contribute as a citizen scientist, here

Create is delighted to be partnering with the Irish Architecture Foundation to present What is it we do now? A workshop led by Heather Peak of Studio Morison for the International Conference Beyond Participation #2.
Building on the inaugural Beyond Participation conference in 2016, Beyond Participation #2 is a vital discussion about architecture and community that will bring together innovators, provocateurs and activists that challenge us to think about democracy, consequence, responsibility and the meaning of the things we design.
