In 2010 artists Sheelagh Broderick and Marie Brett were awarded the Connect Arts and Health Mentoring Award. Sheelagh Broderick (mentee) and Marie Brett (mentor) will discuss mentoring as a process and space for shared learning.

In 2010 dance practitioner Ríonach Ní Néill was awarded the Arts Council's Artist in the Community Scheme Arts and Older People Bursary Award. This was the first Bursary Award provided through the Scheme managed by Create to provide an artist with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and engage with collaborative practice with older people.
