Organisers are inviting designers to submit, projects can be sport-related, comfortable, pragmatic, or utopic and may use the ground, the air, channels, and rivers. The aim is to enjoy mobility, to move efficiently, and to reduce the impact on the environment. Submitted projects should use all modes of transport (individual or collective) taking into account the whole range of possible projects in order to link all various possibilities, rather than choosing one ideal solution. Besides modes of transport organisers want to display how systems, interconnections, and flow control could be implemented. These must be conceived in relation with the city and its various social or legal components, so that they help building a fictional European metropolis.
